“My English is already good.”
Good. That’s the whole point.
CAAPID Interview Express is not an English class. You don’t need grammar lessons, vocabulary drills, or someone correcting every sentence you say.
You already speak English. You can communicate with patients, colleagues, and people around you. The challenge is different when you’re sitting across from an admissions committee and suddenly every answer feels like it matters.
You need to be able to talk about your clinical experience, explain your decisions, discuss difficult situations, communicate your motivation, and answer unexpected questions clearly, confidently, and naturally—under pressure.
That’s what we work on.
The goal isn’t to make you sound like a native English speaker. The goal is to make you sound like the capable dentist you already are, in an interview setting.
Because sometimes your English isn’t the problem.
Your preparation is.
“Do you guarantee I’ll get in?”
No. And be careful with anyone who does.
Admission decisions depend on factors I don’t control: your grades, board scores, clinical experience, essays, program capacity, and an admissions committee I have no contact with.
What I do guarantee is measurement.
You’ll be scored using the same six-band rubric at four points throughout the program: at your baseline assessment and after each of your three mock interviews.
You’ll see exactly what improved, what didn’t, and where you still need work—in numbers, not vague encouragement.
And if your scores aren’t moving, I’ll tell you. You shouldn’t have to wait until the real interview to find out.
